Nextpoint Releases Native File Update

December 16, 2008 by Elyse

Chicago, IL—Nextpoint, the industry leader in Litigation Process Automation, announced the release of customer-specific native file processing capabilities. After several months in Beta-testing, the latest release of the Nextpoint platform reduces time prior to review by dedicating processing power on a per-customer basis, and eliminating any queuing of jobs.

“With traditional processing vendors, customers pay either in time or money for unused processing capacity. Customers are typically forced to wait for their jobs or pay premium charges to have their data processed quickly. Our enterprise customers now have a faster, less expensive platform to process and host their ESI,” said Ben Wolf, Vice President of R&D at Nextpoint.

Nextpoint processes native file types including Outlook, Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF files and automatically produces viewable images to speed time prior to and during review, while preserving a link to the underlying native file. By integrating significant tools that lawyers need in post-production, Nextpoint reduces the total cost of ownership and supports every phase of litigation, including trial.
